RAMBLE!

Oh Boy the last time I posted anything was Father's Day weekend! So sit back b/c the ramble blog is on it's way!

Let's see where to start...
Miranda is back from visiting her dad's family. She had a great time and enjoyed spending time with Jonathan's mother. She got to do all kinds of fun things swimming, helping her grandfather with yard work(in exchange he would take her and teach her how to drive!), she spent alot of time with her cousins. She was glad to get home last weekend. She left today going to Orange Beach with one of her friends for a couple of days---so she was VERY excited about that! Miranda is growing up so much! I am so proud of the young lady she has become!!!

We have been getting Lauren every other weekend and having fun playing with her. She is so much fun and really brings joy to us. I am so very thankful to have her in my life. Unfortunately I don't think she will be going with us on our family vacation. I hate to talk bad about her mother(b/c anyone that is a mother is special) but I am sorry for one moment I have to let out alittle steam). Her mom is not going to let her go. No real reason other than she just doesn't really like for her to go and experience anything that last longer than a weekend with us. I don't know if it is just the control of not having her with Marcy or what. Marcy has bribed Lauren with all kinds of things to stay home...her last thing was that if she didn't go Marcy would take her to Paint a Piece(the pottery place).....We have really tried to let it be Lauren's choice but Marcy is making it hard b/c when Lauren goes home Marcy just bribes and pushes her not to want to go. In talking with Lauren I think she really wants to go but is scared she will make her mom made if she says she wants to go. It is sad that an eight year old is put in that kind of position. Todd and I have just decided to not really make a big deal about it b/c I don't want Lauren to be put in a bad position. Please pray for Lauren and Marcy--Mainly Marcy she is very controlling and very unrealistic sometimes. I won't get on my soap box b/c like I said she is Lauren's mother! I try to be nice and friendly at all times!

Todd has been very busy with work. He is also studying for the last part of his CIA exam(Certified Internal Auditor). He will be taking that on Monday.
Last Sunday night we had a scare..he had really bad back pain and said he needed to go to the ER(I knew it was bad if he needed to go to the ER). When we got there he was breathing really weird, was sweating profusely, and was very clamy. I was really scared he was having a heart attack. It ended up being Kidney stones! Not fun...he has severe pain. He still has not passed it but the pain just comes and goes now so he has somewhat been functioning at this point!

As for me I have been so busy at work. UHHH!!! I brought a huge box of work home this weekend that I hope to get caught up on over the weekend.

I guess you wonder why I am blogging at 3:15AM and I am not asleep well we can thank a little thing called Anesthesia for that. When I have anesthesia I sleep like crazy for a while and then I have trouble sleeping later on. So I am in my having trouble sleeping phase! I had my endoscope today to see how my 9-10 ulcers were healing. The doctor said that the ulcers were healing but that I would have to continue to take Nexium the rest of my life due to the damage that was done from the other medicine that caused the ulcers.

We are gearing up to get ready to go to Fort Morgan the last week of July! I cannot wait! I need a vacation sooooo very bad! My family all goes down there. We have a nice relaxing week of doing nothing! We get to spend time laughing, swimming, laying out, playing games, and just being plain silly. There is always one day of shopping etc. This year there won't be alot of that as Todd and I are really in a paying off bills mode. Not alot of extra $$ to spend on things that I don't need. I already have so much why buy more!!!!

As soon as we get back from the beach Miranda will be going back to school and the fun summer will be over! UHHH!!!

I have a dear freind that I have been doing a Bible Study with and I have really enjoyed it. The bible study is called The Frazzled Female. It is GREAT....I am really enjoying it and it has really helped my focus on my relationship with the Lord. I am looking foward to continuing doing other bible studies with her.

The other night there was the most gorgeous rainbow I have ever seen. I could see it end to end and after looking at it for a few minutes another one appeared behind it! It was beautiful! How thankful I am when I can steal those few moments to see that. It reminds me of the love I had for my daddy and my brother..Thank you God for those perfect moments in life!

Well I guess I need to try to get some rest so I can get up in the morning and work on getting caught up!
