Doc U Need 2 B on the Block

So for you all that are not familiar with Big Brother once a week two people are nominated to go on the block for eviction. The whole house then votes on of the 2 people on the block out of the house.

Why do I tell you this-Well because today I decided to go to the Minor Urgent Care Clinic to get my foot checked out. What a nightmare this was! The doctor came into the room and asked me why I was there. I began telling him about my foot pain and showed him where the bone was protruding out of the foot. He began to examine it...poking, prodding, poking some more, pushing etc. I was about to come off the table several times during his examination. After looking over it his comment was well I could try to see if there is any fluid to remove. I was like WHAT? He then mentions stress factures but they never occur on the top of the foot! I said don't you think you should do an X-ray? His comment was well I can do an X-Ray for interest sake only. WHAT? So far this man seems alittle off to me!

So anyway off to X-Ray I go. It is done rather quickly and I am back to the room to wait. As I am sitting there waiting I can hear the doctor and the X-Ray Tech in the hall discussing my foot. The X-ray tech says something about a bone spur or a stress fracture. At this point the dr. says Oh stress fractures don't occur on the top of the foot. I hear the X-Ray tech say yes they do! At this point I am sitting on the table about to come unglued. I am glad it is only my foot and not my heart!!!!! So then the dr. must get on line b/c I hear him tell the X-Ray Tech that yes he was right a stress fracture could occur on top of the foot. After another 10 minutes of discussion the dr. finally comes in. He tells me that it could either be a bone spur or a stress fracture he is just not sure which? Really? I already knew that! He told me to stay off of it for two weeks and if I wasn't better in two weeks then to go to an orthopedic!

Okay so I am not going to stay home for two weeks. I immediately asked for a copy of the X-rays I am calling Campbells clinic in the morning to get an appointment!

The dr. then tells me he will give me a prescription for pain. I tell him twice that I am highly allergic to Naproxen. The nurse comes back in with the prescription. When I get to Walgreens guess what the pharmacist tells me...the prescription that they gave me has Naproxen in it! Really? So I knew we had some oxycodine at home so I just decided to come home and take that!

This dr. needs to be on the block and voted OUT! He sucked!

I will keep you posted once I go to Campbells Clinic!
