One of my other GREAT memories of Easter was when my brother was in the hospital struggling with his illness. My mom had gone to be with him and things just did not look real promising for him. He had been in somewhat of a semi coma state for a while and the drs. were not being very promising of his outcome. I remember that Easter so vividly when my mom called and said my brother was awake and talking--WOW Easter day! It took on a whole new meaning to me. Of course I remember the real meaning behind Easter but it just really changed my perspective on Easter. After that I began collecting Easter Eggs just as a little reminder of what Easter means to me! Here are a few pictures:
This year we plan to get up go to church and go have lunch at my moms house. We will also be watching the Memphis game on TV--GO MEMPHIS!!!!
Well let's see what else is exciting at our house. We had a bad storm on Wednesday night and our electricity went out for about two hours. When I came home on Thursday night from work I realized that our refrigerator and freezer went out! WHAT! OH no! I lost everything in there! So guess what it takes several days to get the part so we are living out of an ice chest and our freezer outside. I kinda feel like I am on a camping trip! HA HA!
I have been very busy at work but finally I think I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel which makes me very happy! I am a work-aholic and I know it so I just have to try to pace myself and know when to say enough is enough! Although I do have a few things I need to work on this weekend.
Yesterday I was so excited our grill has been acting up and we didn't know what was wrong with it. This was major for me b/c I love to grill! I love food off the grill! It just makes my day to have chicken or fish off the grill! Todd got off early yesterday and came home and worked on it and got it fixed! I was so happy! He also cut the yard--is it really time to start cutting the yard again! So my outside looks great right now-oh besides my flower bed and that is another story! I will have to spend some major time out there this year! It needs alot of work! Thanks Todd for fixing the grill and cutting the yard!
Miranda was out of school yesterday so she spent some time helping me by cleaning up her room and the upstairs. She also helped out by washing some clothes. It is amazing what a help it can be to have someone help you do just a few things. I am so glad she is so willing to help me out! Thanks Miranda!
Well I guess that wraps it up for me right now. I will write some more later as I have time!
Everyone have a GREAT EASTER!
